This was my last chance to discover something and I decided to immerse myself in the “dense things”.
During my three days at ICE, I saw Bitcoin made-to-measure furniture for casinos, playing card distributors for lottery software. , , something for everyone.
I attended the latest unveiling of NetEnt, an online slot for the Gordon Ramsay-themed Hell & # 39; s Kitchen, which was exciting, fun and fun to launch.
Next I visited SG Gaming, whose launch of the new Jackpot Wars was a little more casual but just as interesting. I imagine this is paradise for gamers.
What fascinated me the most was the face recognition from Innovative Technology Ltd – a booth I just stumbled across – where I met Christian Czeskleba, Senior Business Development Manager.
Christian guided me through the explanation that there are proprietary algorithms for instantly checking old and new faces that operators can use to identify customers who have excluded themselves or are minors.
Will I use such software in the industry in the future? Maybe not immediately, but one day for sure.
I also visited the Casino Uniforms booth. There I was reminded of an article I read in the Daily Mail about the outfits of some advertising hostesses.
I have been in this exhibition for three days and can honestly say that as a woman I was not offended by anything I saw.
The problem affected a tiny minority, and although I believe that every woman in a tailed catsuit is wrongly OTT, we should be careful not to return to an unnecessarily outdated world.
The vast majority of these hostesses were suitably dressed, even pretty, and many were fashionable and harmless.
As someone who does not deal with media and journalism, but is merely a reader and an observer, I would compare the world of media and journalism to being a fashion.
It is fashionable at the moment that some people disparage the gambling industry. Papers are sold.
Let's say we have to read, listen, and learn from negative connotations, be it a written piece, a picture, or a documentary.
This is important, but I suspect that due to all the positive steps we are taking, the disparagement of our industry will soon become out of date!
Many thanks to Racing Post, SIS and my employer Paddy Power for this wonderful opportunity to open my eyes.
I had three really great days and am looking forward to returning for Ice London 2021.
The ICE London will return to ExCeL from February 2 to 4, 2021
