The latest figures from the National Statistics Office show that a further 15 people have died from the virus – 10 in the Shropshire Council area and five in the Telford & Wrekin district.
Although her death was announced only today, all 15 nursing home residents died a few weeks ago.
The last death in a nursing home in Shropshire occurred on June 24 and in Telford on July 1.
The numbers mean that 105 people died of the virus in nursing homes in Shropshire, while 50 died in nursing homes in Telford & Wrekin.
However, data on coronavirus nursing home deaths are not available until April 10, and the first hospital death in Shropshire was on March 15.
No further deaths from Covid-19 have been announced in Shropshire hospitals, where 188 people have died from the disease.
Of the 188, 168 died at the Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH), 15 at the Shropshire Community Health Trust and five at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital near Oswestry.
The last confirmed death in the hospital was on July 12th.
There were 92 deaths in Powys.
The UK government-released death toll, including deaths inside and outside hospitals, rose today by 110 to 45,422.
