As both PS5 and Xbox Series X are preparing for the launch dates for Holiday 2020, let's take a look at the games that any console can play when released. While the X series has no exclusive names (Halo: Infinite and Senua's Saga: Hellblade 2We know that PS5 will have at least one: the "raid slasher" known as. Both titles are expected to be launch titles for the console and will be available on Xbox One or PC Godfall,
The Counterplay Games Team has released a range of high resolution wallpapers Presentation of playable characters from the game, including the mascot of Godfall, the lion-headed man in the glowing armor
The other two characters we saw in the game's trailer are also listed in these wallpapers, with different builds likely contributing to different game styles. While character rendering doesn't seem to be much alone, it's an example of the level of detail that we can expect in PS5 games, with changing plate armor and realistic physics that act on malleable materials like hair and fabric. Based on the level of detail of the models and the alleged 8K features of PS5, we expect characters in the game to display the same intricate details that we can see on the models here.
What is Godfall?
Godfall was developed by Counterplay Games and Gearbox Publishing, the creative team behind the Borderlands franchise, and is said to be inspired by games like Monster Hunter: World and novels like The Stormlight Archive, in which characters wear magical armor and beat each other mystical swords.
Described as a "raid slasher", Godfall brings melee to the fore as characters penetrate large groups of enemies and face larger solo bosses to find better armor and weapons. The teaser trailer below is said to have been rendered "in-engine", so we can realistically expect the game to look like this instead of looking at it as nifty animation.

Based on what we've seen from this and the Outriders trailer, the PS5 game stall is (hopefully) developing as impressively as the console itself. We hope to see more game announcements to officially unveil the console, which, according to rumors, will be released on 20th February should take place.
