LONDON (Reuters) – Prime Minister Boris Johnson said Wednesday he did not want to see a second national lockdown to fight the coronavirus pandemic. This is completely wrong for Great Britain and financially catastrophic.

"I don't want a second national lockdown," he told a parliamentary committee. "I think it would be completely wrong for this country and we will do everything in our power to prevent this … I very much doubt the financial consequences will be anything but catastrophic."
