The new Premier League ball for the 2020/21 season has been released – and it looks good.
It is the first version of the Nike Flight that has been released since the announcement of the new Nike soccer ball template last month. With modifications, this will be the basis for all of the company's balls in the coming years.
With a white, "laser red" and black look, the ball will be used in Premier League games from the beginning of the new season on September 12th.
Two similar versions have been released for the buying public: the The game's official flight version, used in Premier League games, costs £ 124.95, and a more affordable £ 24.95 Premier League Strike Ballwhich also comes with a cyan, "Hyper Royal" blue and "Laser Orange" color scheme option. Both are already available.

The Nike Flight is the end product of an eight-year project that Nike has undertaken to improve the consistency of soccer balls – especially when traveling through the air. New AerowSculpt technology means improved aerodynamics: the ball is covered with burrs so that air can flow around it. This means that it moves faster in the air and has a straight trajectory.
FourFourTwo has already tested the Nike Flight template and the claims seem to stand up to the test. Even in windy conditions, it is easier to track the ball's movement in the air and less prone to unexpected evasive action. It is also forgivingly receptive; This tester picked passports from the sky like Andrea Pirlo.
While aerodynamics should be good news for goalkeepers – it reduces the number of random worlds that unfortunate goalkeepers leave on the wrong foot – the strikers also welcomed them.
England and Tottenham striker Harry Kane, sponsored by Nike, has commended the ball for limiting unexpected movements. "The most important thing about a ball is that you can place it where you want it every time," he said. "Consistency is the most important thing and it is so important to have confidence in the ball you are playing with."
With grassroots football finally returning from the corona virus break, some of these Premier League strikes await in the park before the Premier League returns in September.
