BERLIN (Reuters) – German companies assume that public life will be restricted for another 8.5 months due to the coronavirus. That was found in a poll by the Ifo Economic Institute on Monday as Europe's largest economy struggles to recover from a pandemic-induced downturn.
Leisure companies hard hit by the coronavirus crisis are particularly pessimistic and expect restrictions to continue for another 13 months, while the beverage sector is more optimistic and expects the restrictions to end in 6.4 months.
