A Worcestershire commercial technology accelerator celebrated its second anniversary with news that companies have invested more than £ 250,000 since their inception.
BetaDen, based in Malvern Hills Science Park, provides support in commercializing business ideas and helping cohort companies plan their journey to market and develop their networks to become "investment ready".
General Manager Linda Smith said, "The time has passed since we welcomed our first cohort of companies to BetaDen. While this has inevitably been a learning curve for everyone, we are delighted with the returns the accelerator is now delivering.
"22 technology related companies have either completed the BetaDen program or are currently working with us to raise over a quarter of a million pounds in investment in that time.
"Crucially, these startups have created six new full-time positions in the region. Half of our youngest cohort has also chosen to take up the offer of a six-month license at Science Park, where they continue their business trip."
