NHS England today confirmed that the patient died on Wednesday in the care of the Shrewsbury & Telford Hospital NHS Trust (SaTH).

The number of deaths in the county has slowed significantly, with death on Wednesday just the third in the past 20 days.
So far, 167 people have died of the virus at SaTH, 15 at the Shropshire Community Health Trust and five at Robert Jones and Agnes Hunt Orthopedic Hospital near Oswestry.
Another 140 people died of coronavirus in the county nursing homes, 95 in the Shropshire Council area and 45 in Telford & Wrekin.
The National Statistics Office says the death toll in Wales is currently 2,422, with 92 people killed in Powys.
On Thursday, the death toll in the UK, including those inside and outside the hospital, was 44,602.
