The sale represents a rare opportunity to buy 109 hectares of grassland, as well as buildings and a cottage
A 109-acre grassland farm on Anglesey is the largest on the island since 2016, according to real estate agents.
The scale and quality of the well-stocked Trysglwyn Fawr near Amlwch will pique interest from both local and additional buyers, according to Carter Jonas.
A modern farm building offers over 1,000 square feet of livestock and machine storage, and the large yard has a number of traditional buildings.
The grassland has been regularly improved over the years and the farm can be managed by a new owner from day one.
Carter Jonas Associate Partner Hugh O’Donnell said demand for grassland with buildings to build and expand beef and dairy operations is increasing.
"Other farms on the island have been sold, but nothing on this scale in a few years," he said.
The farm has a target price of £ 2.45m in total, but is also offered in up to four lots
"It's a rare opportunity that I think will get a lot of attention."
Trysglwyn also includes a traditional three bedroom Welsh cottage
It has a target price of GBP 2.45 million in total, but is also offered in up to four lots.
Mr O’Donnell added: “Since the Brexit referendum, the offer has decreased but this has underpinned land values.
"When good land like this hits the market, we expect a lot of potential buyers to be interested."
